Typical ideal weight is reported in BMI. The ideal BMIs for both procedures are between 30-40. If you are under BMI 30 please contact us to see what options you have. If you are over a BMI of 40 prior to surgery we recommend a trial of medically managed weight loss. This will be arranged through our clinic.
What is recovery like for these procedures?
Both procedures have expected same day discharges (<24 hrs). We have systems in place to take care of anyone who falls outside of this range.
